Continuous innovation of textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries promotes the development of textile industry
According to incomplete statistics, the output of textile auxiliaries in 2000 was 470,000 tons, with sales of about 20 billion yuan; the output in 2005 was 750,000 tons, with sales of about 33 billion yuan; the output in 2007 was more than 900,000 tons, with sales of about 40 billion yuan; it is expected that the output and sales of auxiliaries in 2008 will continue to maintain the growth trend. Since 2000, the output of auxiliaries in China has maintained a growth rate of about 10%. It is the high-speed development of textile printing and dyeing industry in China, which directly promotes the continuous development and growth of the printing and dyeing auxiliaries industry.
In the past, the research and development of textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries mainly relied on the analysis and imitation of foreign products. In recent years, great progress has been made in the research and development of new products and formulations, the synthesis of basic raw materials and the research of basic theories, which basically meet the needs of downstream industry development.
With the continuous development of China’s economy and the gradual improvement of living standards and consumption capacity, the textile printing and dyeing industry will continue to increase the demand for dyeing and chemical textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries, and the number of entering the international market will continue to increase, so the overall prospects of this industry are optimistic.
At present, China is the largest textile producer, consumer and exporter in the world. In 2007, China’s printing and dyeing cloth output reached 50 billion m, an increase of 8.3% over the same period last year. In the first half of 2008, China’s printing and dyeing cloth production still maintained a certain growth under the influence of many unfavorable factors, such as the continuous appreciation of RMB, the rise of bank loan interest rate, the reduction of export rebate rate, the restriction of Gardine trade imposed by the state, the increase of environmental protection pressure, the substantial increase of raw material prices and the decline of global economic development. In the long run, the stable development of domestic textile printing and dyeing industry will certainly provide a good opportunity for the development of printing and dyeing auxiliaries.
